Identified Student Issues and their Resolutions

01.

Fear/Shame of Failure

Students fear or are shameful of failure in a social environment. The pressure to succeed overcomes the joy of success. The effect of failure is multiplicative.

02.

Insufficient Communication

Two-way effective communication at school needs to be stimulated. There is too much focus on one-way knowledge delivery. Students need a more active role in the learning process.

03.

No Sense of Belonging

The effect of remote learning during the Covid pandemic had a negative side effect - lack of teamwork between students and teachers. These groups need a shared sense of belonging.

04.

Lack of Orientation

Students have difficulties in making the important life choices regarding education and profession. They need a better understanding of their own skills and competencies.

05.

Myopia, Lack of Rationality

Students need additional knowledge about rational analysis and situational awareness to support their capability of making adequate decisions.
